Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)

At The Fin Shop, we stand behind the health and quality of our livestock. We are committed to providing healthy fish, shrimp, snails, and plants, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer.

If any livestock arrives dead or in poor condition, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Determine Eligibility

  • Claims must be made on the day of delivery.
  • The first delivery attempt must be successful (someone must be present to receive the package).
  • Dry goods are fully guaranteed.
  • Fish are guaranteed when shipped via UPS Next Day only.
  • Free items are not covered.

Step 2: Submit Your Claim

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos and a video of the fish in the unopened bag
  • The shipping label visible in the image

For missing items:

  • Provide clear photos of everything received

Step 3: Receive Your Claim

Dry Goods:

  • Reshipped free via UPS Ground

Livestock:

  • Refund issued to original payment method
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Reshipment available at customer’s expense
